Application Template for FAA's Employee (MyFAA) Website
This application template provides you with examples of new features, usage notes and instructions, and guidance about when it is appropriate to use each new feature.
The content of this template is presented using the template itself, which allows you to review and copy the source code as well as see the new template features as they may appear in your application.

Employees Application Template Version 3.1
This version of the Employees Application Template includes a lot of great new features. You can now:
- Choose between two styles of navigation - the vertical navigation you've been using, or new horizontal navigation, with support for up to 2 levels.
- Add boxed content with clear or colored (blue, light blue, black or gray) headers.
- Add content within an accordion, powered by an included (integrated by default) jQuery Javascript library.
- Take advantage of the new 960-pixel site width. We encourage you to follow 960 Grid System principles when developing your applications so that they integrate well with the MyFAA site.

What else has changed since version 2.1?
Besides new features included in Version 3.0, we've made the following improvements since version 2.1 of the application template was released:
- Graphics have been updated to match the new MyFAA template,
- Most web elements have been updated to match MyFAA, notably:
- New data tables (
<table class="layout">needed for layout) - Forms implementation
- New data tables (
- Old legacy support has been dropped.
- New "Contact Us" area has been added to the footer, where you can add custom links.
New to 3.1
- Pages now use the HTML5 DOCTYPE and coding conventions.
- All support for Internet Explorer 6 has been dropped.
- All CSS has been streamlined into a single file making your sites load faster.
- Added support for alternate styling of page components based on the presence of either
<html class="no-js">or<html class="js">. For more information please see JS Detection. - Internet Explorer compatibility handling has been turned into a class presence system similar to the previously mentioned javascript detection. The html tag will now have various classes assigned to it depending on which Internet Explorer version is loading the page. For more information please see CSS Fixes.

- jQueryUI has been updated to version 1.8.2
